Events

The four galleries that delivered the Art Speaking project will come together to share experiences. This will also be an opportunity to inform other venues on how an interpretation project like Art Speaking can be of benefit for delivery venues as well people with visual impairments.

The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum holds a number of paintings of the city’s most famous heroine. Interpreter – Anne-Marie Sandos.

Roger Fry – Italian Hill Town
(1908-10) This piece is also called ‘Church’
This work lies between Fry’s discovery of Cezanne and his introducing Van Gogh and Gauguin to Britain. Interpreter – Jack Shuttleworth.
